Overview

TheFLUV seriesis asolvent-free nano pigment color pasteforUV and electron-beam curing. It uses a reactive monomerTPGDA as a carrier with no carrier resin and no solvent, so it does not affect curing efficiency. Compatible with common UV resins; it reacts completely with photoinitiators without leaving residue. With a fineD50 particle size of approximately 200 nm, high-performance organic pigments, carbon black and titanium dioxide. FLUV delivers vivid color, excellent lightfastness (up to grade 8), and outdoor durability of up to 5 years on selected BASF grades.

Why Choose a TPGDA Solvent-Free System?

Since TPGDA is a reactive monomer rather than an inert solvent, it co-polymerizes into the cured film during UV/EB exposure. There is no solvent to evaporate, no residue, and no loss of cure speed. This resin-free, pigment-only dispersion gives formulators maximum flexibility to design their own binder and photoinitiator systems while achieving precise, stable color.

Key Features

  • UV & EB curable— withstands UV and electron-beam irradiation
  • TPGDA monomer carrier— no solvent, no carrier resin
  • Does not affect curing efficiencyComplete photoinitiator reaction with no residue

For outdoor or long-life applications, select high lightfastness grades—FLUV-2905, FLUV-3805, FLUV-3905, and BASF FLUV-6530/6600/6700 (rated for 5+ years). For indoor or short-cycle use, standard yellow, orange, and red grades offer the best value.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the carrier in FLUV pastes? The reactive monomer TPGDA contains no solvent or carrier resin. During curing, the monomer polymerizes into the film, so nothing evaporates or leaves residue.

Will the paste slow down UV curing? No. FLUV reacts completely with photoinitiators and does not affect curing efficiency.

Are these pastes suitable for outdoor use?Yes. Lightfastness achieves grade 8, and the BASF blue/green ratings ensure five or more years of outdoor durability.

Can they be used for electron-beam (EB) curing?Yes — FLUV is designed for both UV and EB curing and withstands high-intensity irradiation.

What is the particle size?D50 delivers a smooth, high-gloss, and uniform cured film when applied to 200nm,.

What pigments are used?Premium Cabot carbon black, fully imported titanium dioxide, and high-performance organic pigments from BASF and DIC.
